96 zj lights shut off, wont turn over

hey guys, so I have a 1996 zj limited 4.0 and I got in it today and I heard a clicking noise from over by the glove box which shut off when I opened the glove box (weird). I put the key in the ignition and the dash lights came on and shut off after a second and nothing would happen when I turned the key. I got out of the jeep and shut the door and got back in and everything worked fine and it started, but it reset everything like I had unhooked the battery terminals, any ideas on what this could be? I don't think its the bcm but I wanted some opinions.

If you haven't done it already, check the Battery Terminals, they could be loose or corroded, not a lot to go on here unless you can duplicate it consistently?
