4 is a bit much if you're just gonna run 31's.

A 2" bb or a 2" real lift like the OME HD coils will let you run 31's and you won't have to mess with the control arms. Your pocket book will thank you.

How do you like those taillights? I've been thinking of buying those for awhile now...

I don't just want to run 31's I want to wheel my jeep and flex it out on the trails at my local 4x4 park. So i figured bigger lift with help accomplish that. Right?

They came on it when I bought the Jeep. I like the tinted aspect of them. I like the whole "Murdered Out" look.

Today I Plasti Dip'ed my wood grain trim. I pulled the dash trim pieces off to spray, they turned out pretty good. Masked off the pieces on the doors and sprayed. Turned out pretty good I think.

2"BB would do you fine even at wheeling with some fender mods. If you want to run 31's and have max flex then do a full on 3.5" kit. Talk to Kolak and so some searching on here, tons of info.

i''m running 31's with a 2.25"bb+1" UC package from factory, so about 3" of lift total, my 31's rub on the front bumper so i'll be taking that off this week. If I want full flex I'll still need to do some fender mods.

I have yet to have a problem at hollister or southcow with 2.5" and 31's. I've got plenty of up and down travel once I'm discoed.

Oh, if you're adventurous there's a zj in the san jose north picknpull that has a lift kit just waiting to be knicked, CA's, springs, I'd toss the shocks, adj fr trackbar, and a rear trackbar bracket.

Looked like close to 4 or 4.5 even had discos (I was messing with the pass side one, it's in the battery tray.)

Ping me if you're heading out to the trails, I'll be happy to follow you.

Yea I think I'm going to wait and just spend some money for quality/new. Who know what kind of condition the lift is and how saggy the springs are.

Here is the only picture I took of my Plasti Dip Mod. I think it turned out really nice. Even my GF who doesn't care about modifying cars said it looks a lot better then the wood trim.

Just a little update. The jeep is now lifted with Rubicon Express short arms and 4.5inch springs. New track bars, brake lines etc. I put in a 242TC. Sitting on 31's. Also put on rock sliders.

Took it to Hollister (local offroad park) and it did pretty damn well.

Here is a picture of us flexing it out on the lift. It probably could of gone higher.

Also, I bolted up a ammo box in the back were the spare tire originally was.

Wehere is the spare going? Roof or rear carrier?
