96 tranny problems

lately my jeep has been hesitating to shift into 3rd gearor od and sometimes doesn't shift at all i no its prolly time to rebuild or change it or could it be a sensor or something ? i don't have any cel on and would it b easier changing tranny or havin a place rebuild it any input would b greatly appreciated

i forgot to add first and second are no problems at all

thanks filled out engine tranny and model dont no wat t case i have or axles

.. Just change the fluid & filter or better yet have a trans shop change it .. They should tell you what the issues are .
