Ooo...that sucks. How bad is this "tlc" we're talking about? Post pics. And about paint, are you talking about painting your front bumper, or repainting the entire car? If your repainting the entire car, its cheaper to get it repainted the same color it already is so you don't have to do doorjams, engine bay, etc.

Eh some stuffs bent up front needs replaced/ pulled and straightened. I'm gonna pair the entire thing. Not going to worry about engine bay door jambs and that stuff. Not really a big deal to me

Started designing my sub box/cargo box today. The sub box diemensons are correct on how they will be when done. Cargo box I Will measure tomorrow for it. I envision it completely covering the the right side wheel well. We will see how it goes

Here's the storage part added to the sub. The only thing I am concerned about is the seat if it Dosnt allow it to sit in there far enough I'll shorten the "L" and pull it out a bit

Just so you know there is an easier way to get the pictures of your drawings from sketchup to here instead of taking a picture with your camera...

on Sketchup go to

file >
export >
2d graphic.

Then save it somewhere on your computer, upload it to photobucket or any other photo hosting site, and then use it on this forum.

One other tip, make sure you account for wood thickness on sketchup. The sub box should be made of 3/4 mdf. The storage box doesn't need to be that thick since it won't be experiencing all the pressure like the sub box, so you can use a thinner wood if you'd like...you'll save money that way.

Decided when I find a better job I'm getting iro benchmark 3.5in lift. Get rear coils as well with that. Get factory zj 15in rims. Put 31x10.50 good year wrangler authority's on it. Then build the flatland 4x4 front slotted winch bumper and get a 8500lb winch on it. Hopefully I have all that before I come back to Pennsylvania I want to wheel out here were we we're this weekend. Tons of fun and we were only on quads and a rhino.

Soft 8's are pretty legit, got those for mine. Just haven't had a chance to put them on yet (Waiting for money for new tires). Sounds like you have a good build plan, and post pics of the sub box when your done. What's going in it?
