The IRO lift isnt bad however to go 3.5" at $450 just to run 30"s is a bit overkill. For $60 or so you can get a 2" BB off ebay and call it a day. With the 2" BB you can run a 31x10.5 Normally they would rub a little on the OEM front bumper but you wont have that problem lol.

Yep, I just bought new shocks and re-painted it, my rear main seal went out so I replaced the gear oil and seal, I'm still adding custom parts here and there, saving up for the body lift (yep, I'm that broke) and maybe a rear bumper, does anyone know how to find a spare tire mount for the rear? It can block the lift gate because it is jammed shut.

For starters, unlucky with the crash, but good job on the fix. I was reading through this and first thought it may be BS, but the front hitch would've helped a LOT.
I have to say though, you can't get a body lift fro a ZJ as it is a uni-body. You may be referring to the budget boost which is the spacers mentioned above.
Personally, I would save a little longer and get either the IRO 3.5 kit (I have it and love it) or just go as big as you want later and save more.
As for the tire carrier. If you really don't need to use the rear door, you can get hitch tire carries that mount to a rear tow hitch, but I have heard they are pretty noisey. Otherwise, as you can weld, why not look around and see if you can find some directions/diagrams to fab one up yourself?

maybe some military style serial numbers on the fenders, and a big star on the driver and passenger doors.

If its any constellation I believe you going 45mph. ;-) my 96 got worked by the POs son.... row of steel mailboxs at about 40 and a parked escalade. Was pretty knary but no where as bad as yours. Im glad you are ok.

How did you bend the cross member in the front back out? I've tried a come a long and haven't gotten mine straight enough to do anything.

If it's pushed in to far it will bow the frame/unibody rails and the only way to get it right is to put it on a frame/unibody machine.

Very nice work so far ...

I wonder if you could cut the ends off your old bumper or another front bumper and add them on the sides of your bull bar and clean up the look some ???
