96 GC 4.0 To 5.2 swap...

I have 177xxx on my 4.0L and my trans needs a rebuild... I plan on moving in the next couple months and pulling a Uhaul therefore I need to do the trans before I move. I found a 1996 limited that was wrecked on craigslist it has the 5.2 and the guy wants 500 for the engine trans and wiring harness. Does this seem fair and how difficult is this swap?

I'll be towing a longer distance thats my only reason for considering the 5.2. It would be nice to be able to tow the camaro every once and a while but its not necessary.

I was back and forth on keeping my ZJ this week (trading for another zj or wj) but overall its in great condition i'd just like to do my repairs and make it as bulletproof as possible before i get around to any mods. If the 5.2 is not in the cards what are some of the best rebuild kits for the 42re?

Thanks

hmmmm most people will tell you it's not worth the hassle b/c you have to do so much work. And that it's better off just to sell the 4.0 and buy a v8.

I do have a question though, If i have wrecked v8 ZJ right next to me 4.0 is it possible that everything is plug n play? since i'll have every single piece? Heck myswell put a 5.9 in.
