'96-98 grill on a '93?

I've found a color matched grill on a few newer ZJs at the yard. Mine is painted flat black (was craptasic chrome). Could I put the 7 slot grill from a newer ZJ on mine w/out mod?

No, the newer grill insert is taller than the old one, you would need the back bracket and to either cut your bumper or a new front from a 96-98...I want to do it too.
Can't wait to get started, but my wallet can......

I think it'd be worth it to swap the right bumper in too. IMO, '96-'98 front looks far better than '93-'95. Not to mention you'd be going from a bizarre 8-slot grill to Jeep's trademark 7-slot.

So I installed the flux capacitor but the Jeep just won't do 88 mph.
