96' 4.0l 4x4 conversion

Just as the heading says I want to convert my 4.0 limited to 4x4.
How would I do it?
Would I need to worry about any electrical?
And could I just split my transmission, or would I have to buy another on?

you need a 4wd transmission, transfer case, front axle, front driveshaft, probably rear driveshaft, shifter assembly and linkage, and alot of time.

IMO your better off to sell yours and find a 4x4.

Go to the jy and get as donor jeep. One by me will sell y ou a whole zj minus the wheels for 500

It seems so simple. I just need to collect the parts or find a donar jeep. Anyone know of any actual jeep parts stores in the daytona/orlando florida area? Or maybe a good junk yard I can find this stuff. All the ones ive been too dont have very many good looking donars.

Alright I found the parts I need for pretty cheap. And im going to do the swap in the next week or two... any other issues you guys can think of that I need to look out for?

Think I found my donor jeep.
96' 4x4 4.0l
172k miles
242 t-case
And 3.73 gearing.

Going to pull the parts on Saturday..
Ill try to put up pics when I get done
