95 ZJ project "Daddys jeep" build thread

So I've been meaning to start a build thread for awhile now. Ive already put new shocks, eurathane bushings, wheels/tires, electric fan swap, and a few other odds and ends. but UPS showed up today with the first parts for the rest of my axle swap.

Picked up a used full detroit locker and 4:10's for the rear, UPS brought me the install kit and yukon chromo shafts.

For the front I'm swapping in a High pinion with detroit trutrac and 4:10's already installed.

I also placed a last minute order with Rusty's for a set of 5.5" rear springs since when I pulled my Rubicon express springs out, it was blatently obvious what was causing the "slight sag" in my passenger rear. <see pics...lmao!


Update:

So the rustys springs came in and I got the rear axle back. 4:10's make a huge difference on the starting torque over stock. So far the rusty's 5.5" springs are noticably taller in the rear (and it doesnt sag anymore). Cant wait to get the HP 30 in the front. Too much OT at work lately. At least its helping me afford to pay for all this.

Damn it I have a sag in my passanger side of my re spring.

3.5 re lift, double sheer front tb, 31" wrangler duratecs

mine are 3.5" what were those? 5.5?

They are RE 4.5" pretty sure that bumper had plenty to do with it.

Their custom built fully wlded 1/8" plate. The rear probably weighs around 600# with the tire?

I'm definitely not going to be doing any jeepspeed racing like that. Next up on the list is going to be filling that void with a winch.

My son used to love riding in daddy's jeep, but it's been eclipsed by daddy's truck now. It's a single cab and with the booster he sits in the front and gets the full driving experience. He still loves my jeep though.
