95 Zj door panel clip removal? Help needed

I just can't seem to get the old clips off the door panel to put the new ones on. It appears they just pop out but everyone I pull on them the tops just break off. It's really getting annoying and a 5 minute Job is now turning into a big ordeal. Please help. How do you get the little clips off?

If you mean the clips to the door panel and not the electrical connectors then try twisting as you slide it out of it's slot by pushing at the same time.

Go to an auto parts store and find a door panel removal tool. It helps put pressure evenly on both sides of the clip so that they are less likely to break. The tool should only be a couple bucks, and is worth it as they are universal so you can use them for every car you have (now and in the future).
