i think hes talking about the transfer cases. just because you had an aw4 doesnt mean you had a 231. you couldve had any of the 3 transfer cases offered in the ZJ.

Get your build sheet from Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. It will tell you exactly what you have unless someone did a swap at sometime.

jeep does alot of stupid things, so it wouldn't surprise me on the tcase thing.

but an Awd will read 1-2, 3, D, N, R P.
