94 Lift-gate question

Does anyone know if I can swap the lift-gate off of my 94 for one say off a 97?

I was looks like it should fit and that way I could get one that has the window that opens separate from the entire door.

It will swap, but the flip glass might not work.

Yeah. Why would the glass not flip if I was to swap the entire door?

The flip glass is not a mechanical switch, it is hooked into the harness that is located in the hatch.

It may or may not connect. I know that that harness is a royal ***** to troubleshoot, hence why I have given up on mine lol.

I meant the glass. There is an electrical switch that controls the latch.
