'94 Laredo 5.2L V8 Oil Pressure Sending Unit Replacement

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone could give me a detailed write up on the proper procedure in replacing the Oil Pressure Sending Unit in a '94 Grand Cherokee Laredo with a 5.2L V8

I have looked around but could not find a very detailed write up. I am an absolute beginner when it comes to working on cars so the more detail the better.

Any help is appreciated, Thank You!

Thanks for the quick reply, I did already buy the socket. As far as getting to the unit itself so there a special way to get to it easy, I know where it's located but it seems like a tight fit. Also is it as simple as taking the old one out and putting the new one in? Or is there some middle steps to ensure a good seal or something?

Thanks!

Just a late follow up to this for complete noobies. This was a super simple repair I got the part and the special socket and could reach the oil sending unit just fine with a ratchet. Replaced the unit and my oil leak has stopped.
