94 grand cherokee power steering BAD leak

5.2 L V-8
Any videos on changing the power steering unit? I just poured "BAR power steering repair" liquid in the unit and it didnt do crap. After i finished driving it for 30 minutes i found all the liquid had leaked out and the power steering is completely gone...hard as crap to turn her. Guess Ill buy a refurbished one. It is to cramp to find the leak under her. Just not positive on where i should be focusing. Not even positive it is the power steering unit or another hose related to the unit.
I am new to the jeep world. My first jeep in 25 years.

The pump is probably not leaking. You have a bad hose. Find and replace the hose then flush the crap out of the system to be sure you have all of the "BAR power steering repair" junk out of the system. You should NEVER use snake oil to try and fix a problem, it will never work and usually causes more problems than you originally had to start with.

97 XJ, 6" lift with SYE. OTK steering, drop pitman, custom track bar relocated to top of axle, IRO long arm kit, RC disconnects. Powertrax no slip locker in the rear. Stock wheels with 31x10.50 General Grabber AT2's.

A 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee is actually a ZJ not an XJ.
I'm going to move this thread to the ZJ section of Jeepforum where your fellow owners can best be of assistance.

But I still wouldn't trade it for a Coupe DeVille."
