93 ZJ stalls
My daughter's 93 ZJ (90K miles) 6 cylinder 4.0 has recently developed a habit of stalling at slow speeds at almost full wheel lock when hitting a bump (e.g. curbside, pothole in parking lot etc). After doing so it will immediately crank back up again though. My first impression was electrical but when it does stall no evidence of an electrical cut-out is seen. In other words everything electrical stays working. Any ideas on where to go hunting for a possible problem?

Has it ever had a full tune up?
Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air and fuel filters? |

It was previously owned by a doctor and has had every single recommended maintenance done like clockwork by the dealer on it (I have all records). Plugs, wires, etc etc etc were all replaced just before my daughter's purchase of this Jeep. What stumps me is that at driving over really bumpy roads at a pretty good clip there is absolutely no indication of a cut out. It literally only occurs at almost standstill. The engine doesn't bog-down either right before it stalls which leads me away from a fuel delivery problem but obviously I could be wrong.

What's the fuel level when this happens. Sometimes ZJ's will stall when going in a tight circle due to fuel running away from the pickup when you have between 3/8 or less in the tank.
