93 jeep ZJ lift questions

I'm buying a 93 jeep grand cherokee full-time 4x4 4.0 and it already has a 3.5in lift from coil spring spacers, the lift kit also came with shocks so wouldn't i be able to throw the front springs in the rear and put f150 springs in the front to get the 3.5 inch lift? Would that help the ride or be safer than the spacers or would it not really make a noticeable difference. Also what year ford f150 would work on this ZJ?

You CAN do that with f150 springs. That's what I have on my jeep but I wouldn't recommend it. New coils will be safer than 3.5" tall spacers for sure. Look at iron rock off roads website and buy a set of front springs. F150 springs don't give very much lift and they're made for a heavier vehicle. So they ride very rough and don't flex very much. You'll thank yourself in the future for spending a little extra on lift springs made for your jeep.

Alright sweet thanks, I'll definitely grab a set of front springs soon. I'm actually in the process of buying this jeep (which will be my first jeep) that has the 3.5in lift, 31in new federal M/Ts, and a side exit exhaust system for 1000 dollars. Runs and drives perfectly fine.

Good luck! Mines a 97 and worked perfect when I got it and now I'm having to replace just about everything. So just be cautious and have some money saved for parts. Jeep = Just empty every pocket.

Good thing is, they'll usually start and get you where you need to go even if everything's broken ??
