T he 92 is an la motor. Not a practical swap into a magnum motor equipped vehicle.

All sourses I read searching this say the 92's where the first year for the Magnum MPFI engines with 230 hp . I thought they were LA's too

1992 was the first year for the Magnum 5.2 in the Rams. The 5.9 Magnum replaced the 5.9 LA the following year.

To tell for certain just count the number of bolts on the valve cover in the RC. 10 on Magnums, 5 on LA's

How about a dakota 5.2? My block is toast and ive been wanting to pick up an nv3500, two birds with one stone?

Mainly, will my accesory brackets, motor mounts, etc line up or should i look for a zj engine?
