50mm Fastman TB worth it for my ZJ?

All of my mods are listed in the drop down menu under my name to the left

basicly though as far as engine performance goes

3" exhaust with Magnaflow Cat and Magnaflow Muffler with turndown after muffler
F&N FIPK2 intake tube with Amsoil dry media filter
MSD ignition coil
Magnacore wires
Mopar Performance ECU

with those mods , is a 50mm fastman throttle body worth it?

anyone have one on there 5.2?

what would i expect to see as far as HP / Torque / MPG ?

( asking cause i am able to get one for 150 shipped )

50 mm. sounds small. I think the 4.0ltr had like a 60 mm. TB. Back in the day I had a neon and many people were running a 60 mm. TB from a jeep as a cheap upgrade from their 52 mm. TB.

yes well the 4.0 also uses a ONE chamber 60mm throttle body where the 5.2 has TWO which are 50mm each

Fastman 62mm 4.0 throttle body

Fastman 50mm 5.2 throttle body

your on your way to being fully complete of stage one with that TB.

its should help a bit since you have a bigger filter taking in more air and a bigger exhaust with air coming out

For a mild 5.2, 50mm is plenty. Bigger isn't always better.

Any time you upgrade the TB, you'll only notice a difference at WOT, since the blades are restricting air to begin with. You won't see any increase in hp or tq in your normal driving routine. You might see a little better throttle response though.

For $150, the Fastman is a good value. I would say it's probably worth it, if you ever do any engine work, this is where you'll see much improvement. It wouldn't hurt to replace your gunked up original TB anyways.

Most of the Ram crowd run a Fastman TB. They're smart enough to know that buying something like the BBK for twice the price is stupid.
