Yes, there are some 5 speed ZJ's out there. Unfortunately they are mated to 4.0L I6's and not the 5.2L or 5.9L. However, several people have done conversions with the V8 models. My buddy has a Dodge Dakota R/T (Only available in auto) that he just recently converted to manual.

Here's a JF'er with a 5 speed: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f13/j...ed-zj-1287011/

I think it's actually harder to swap a 5 speed to the 4.0 because you can't get the ecu's unless you have a full same year parts zj to swap from. Thats only if you care about having cruise control and need CEL for inspection.

That's true... I just found a stock 93 with a factory 5-Speed I was going to buy for $800 and convert my 1996. THERE IS NO WAY IT WILL NOT THROW A CODE... I live in STUPID NY so I had to abandon the idea...

I only have 1 XJ and 1 ZJ, but I'm very willing to trade my Subaru for #3.
