As a very proud 5.9 ZJ owner, I can easily tell you everything you need to know about it.

The 5.9L (360cid) V8 that was offered in the ZJ 5.9 Limited is rated at 245hp and 335lb-ft of torque. Its estimated 0-60 is 7.3 secs (which I proved to myself more than once ) and it does the 1/4 mile in 15.2 secs. (Not bad for a 5,000lbs truck huh )

Other interesting facts are, only 14,286 out of 233,086 ZJ's made in 1998 were equipped with the 5.9L V8.

Hoped I helped

Ciao!!

Ditto, mine with a few simple mods does 0-60 in about 6 seconds and the quarter evaporates in 14.69! My God I love this Jeep!!
