5.9 tune up

i want to do plugs, wires cap and rotor on my 5.9 but im not sure which brand to use. i don't want to use cheap stuff. i bought taylor wires for my 66 charger and cut and crimped the ends to the length i wanted, should i go this route? at least that way i could get almost any color! lol also what plugs? NGK's? bosh? champions?

thanks
connor.

I still offer my Kolak Ignition Upgrade for the 5.9. It consists of the finest wires on the market - those made by Magnecor. I couple it with an MSD high output coil, brass terminal cap & rotor and colder plugs to resist detonation. PM me for all the info. JeepForum members get a 10% discount off the price of the kit

I can tell you for a fact that using cheap plug wires will screw you. I went the cheaper route and am now paying going to find out which one burnt through.

Okay, at least two of the driver's side plug wires were burnt through. I guess those headers do get warm.

I don't prefer the bosch plugs. I like the Champions and NGKs. If you want great response in a performance ignition, go platinum or irridium plugs. Don't worry about more than one ground electrode.

I'd do what Kolak suggested. I have heard no bad about the guy. I'll be contacting him someday I imagine, when theres money to burn

93 red ZJ 190k 4.0. Spent more money than I should have ...

Isn't red the only color a vehicle should be?
If at first you don't succeed, use more speed.
