Oh obviously check the condition of the oil as well. Look for frothy bubbles. Inspect the front CV axle boots for rips or tears. Pinion leaks, valve cover leaks, oil pan leaks, trans pan leaks, ect. All that can factor into getting a better deal since you will have to repair and replace it anyway. If they have the original control arm bushings they will be way beyond shot. That some extra money too.
