5.9 Exhaust no Cat

While working on the 5.9 I realized that a PO eliminated the cat on my ZJ and welded in a few mismatched bits of tubing to fill the gaps I was planning to straight pipe the exhaust redneck style but no cat=way TOO noisy so whats my best option now? I have no emissions control or annual inspections in SC so legally I can do whatever I want.

I want it to let the world know she's a 5.9...without making a complete *** of myself

You're just asking to get this thread deleted by the mods. Cats are required on a federal level no matter where you live (in the US).

A good high-flow cat will cost you almost no power and only about $60.

Ohh yeah I forgot about the feds. I thought cats were more $$$ than that. Should have googled it

Perfect - he and I are already working on a lift kit setup so we'll just add that to the list.
