Im going to check it out this week after i fix my zj and see what i think. If it looks clean enough i may try and pick it up but otherwise im not gonna add to my jeep problems

As someone who's lived on Texas coast on and off for years, I can tell you that the heat alone will NOT stop the rust. Driving along the water's edge at the beach will start rust spots in places you wouldnt believe. Saltwater is a constant menace....so take a good hard look at it before you commit. My ZJ has been to the beach and saltwater marsh areas several times, but I spend $20 in quarters at the car wash directly afterward...when washing the undercarriage.
