5.2l help

I have a 97 Grand Cherokee and the motor went on it my buddy has a 00 dodge ram 5.2 I could use. Would it work? Or what will I have to change for it to work?

Tons of threads on dodge motors swaps, search button will provide tons of answers. Idk if the 2000 is the same as the 1998, but the 1998 can be swapped. Again build threads out the a** on the swaps on what you need and don't need

you'll be able to use the long block. use the exhaust manifolds and all accessories from the jeep. i believe the oil pans may be different as well.

'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.
