Why? Are you trying to get signals from outer space?

Yea, why does the antenna need to be the length of the Jeep? Why not just say a 12ft whip or somethin?hahah

Most truck stops along interstates have a CB shop in or near them. Just take a look and I am sure you will find a CB shop.

I used a ford F150 specific cb mount to put my antenna half way up the between the drivers side fender and the hood, looks great, works great. I also tossed on a medium spring so that I dont have to worry about snagging the antenna on the many tree branches we have up in Washington state.

you dont need a 9ft whip to look cool your going to like smacking the hell out of the top of the jeep when it snags trees

98% of drivers say "oh crap" when they see snow, the other 2% are Central Illinoisans that say "Hold my beer and watch this!"

A lot of clubs dont let their members run whips because they are so dangerous. It gets snagged on something and can cause serious harm when is comes free. If they were that much greater, all the guys here would be using them. A 3' or 4' Firestik will do just fine.
