That will destroy the transfer case even worse. Then it will lose its drivability all together.

Well anyway you dont have to have snow with the selec-trac. you can use it for rain too, Just use the all wheel drive and you can use it any time.

About the 4WD. I remember this sign a teacher had in school. It read: It is better to have a parachute and not need it than to need it and not have it!

I drove my 98 249 for six months without the front driveshaft (because I couldn't find a cheap used one) and I had no problems. It is still working great in my buddies zj with 230,000 miles on it
