you need a tcm for the 46rh, it is NOT fully hydraulic.

a 46re is a simple bolt in swap.

You will need the driveshafts from the 93, the 46RH is longer.

Ok. You will have a constant check engine light on. The 46rh is standalone but you'll need to do some wire harness splicing tp get it driveable.
You will need the flexplate from an early v8 as the torque converter bolt pattern changed in 96.
You will need the early grand cherokee tranny Crossmember as the mounts are different. You will need new driveshafts as the rh is longer and the 44a pinion is longer too. So no stock will fit. Same for front shaft as early grands had the long pinion d30.

Get a 46re from a niner. You'll only have to deal with the driveshaft then(and probably not because the rh is only longer due to the mech governor on the od unit.)

nope, you can't swap computers without swapping EVERYTHING front of the driver's seat for wiring, sensors, and emissions. including the gauge cluster which means the dash too.

stick to obdii controlled systems, if you want a junkyard upgrade, the 46re from a jeep 5.9 limited is as close to bolt in as you'll get. if you just want a stronger tranny have it rebuilt with better clutches, 48re spec OD unit, and a shift improver kit.
