So, are all 5.2L converters the same?
I'm guessing mine is toast and not willing to chance it while I have it all apart. All I know is the PO said the transmission is shot and that the converter is locked up.
I just took a peak under mine and it looks like a MOFO to change it.
Is there a trick to getting the coolant lines off without breaking them?
Also, I can get a tranny cheap from the U Pull It but with the silica they put in the engine to seize it, I cannot imagine being able to get the converter off without being able to turn the crank.
