42RE transmission speed sensor replacement

Hi, I have a 96GC with a 42RE tranny and want to replace the transmission output speed sensor. the one in there apparently has a failing seal and is leaking slightly. I got a new one at the dealer and it looks like it threads in. my question is is this an easy part swap and how much fluid can I expect to come out after I remove the old sensor? thanks

this is a 2 min fix. Take the elec connection off, have the new sensor ready, screw out the old, and quickly install the new, put elec connection back on. You will lose VERY little fluid...

It was the end of the mystery. the trans seemed to be shifting a little delayed for a few days. when I went to remove the electrical connector from the speed sensor the wires were torn out of it all fixed now and shifts like new again and no leak.
