4.7 with a P1494 code

I have an 2003 overlander and last week and a 2004 engine put into it because mine had a blown head gasket and some oil in the antifreeze or something like that. So had the engine put in and it ran great for two days than the third day the engine light came on I took it to Autozone and had them test it and gave me a P1494 code. My fiance found one of the vacume hose's disconnected so he connected it and disconnected the battery and the engine light went off. But that vacume hose keeps coming off. Any insight would help. First, is there a reason why this hose would keep coming off is there too much pressure somewhere? How can I clear the code without disconnecting the battery. After putting all this money into this truck I don't want to hurt anything.
thanks!
