Cletus93, if you'd have bothered to read the thread, his crank sensor was pulling the 5 volts supply to ground. It's not the coil. It's the crank sensor ( and/or other things).

Well my mopar sensor will be here tomorrow. I'm trying to remove the old one today and what a pain this is. My fat a$$ hasn't even got close to the sensor yet lol. I'm enlisting some help right now so we will have a man on top and a man on bottom, lol, there's probably a joke there but I'm leaving it alone.

I got the new sensor in a few hours ago and my jeep fired right up. Thanks a lot deejay, I never could have figured this out on my own. On a side note I couldn't get the metal cover back on top of the sensor so I just left it off, is this ok?

a lot people run without the shield. it's intent is to keep the cables to the transmission from messing the wires up. just be sure the cables are clear of the wiring.

you're welcome. hope it runs good for a while
