4.0 -98 ZJ clanking engine sound when cool

Hi,
I have an 4.0 ZJ with a not loud but its there, clanking sound from engine when its started and for a couple of minutes... What ive heard from a old guy in a workshop for US-cars he said its a common sound on these engines.. And i was gonna change oil to see if it gets any better - he said to me; use Lucas 20W-50 oil and replace 20% of the oil with Lucas OilStabilizer! so i bought it and change the oil yesterday but its no better- maybe worse! The f***kin oil was like suryp and the stabilizer would hardly not come out of the can! This cant be good! What would you guys recommend?? dont have any instructionmanual but a 76-oil with like 10W-40 must be a lot better or?? Feels like that s**t is to thick??

ThankYou// Johan, SWEDEN

Put the normal oil back in it. How many miles are on the engine? 4.0s are not known for their lack of noises.
