360 to 408 ?
Bout to pull my 5.9 for rebuild been looking at Hughes engines 408 stroker kit. my plans are for a high torque long mile engine. I'm buying new heads but staying with stock iron heads and rv cam

1. Will my stock computer work with a 408 or is there tuning required?
2. What would be good to upgrade in the valvetrain? Springs rockers......

rv cam won't be enough for that motor, nor will the "stock" heads. at a minimum you should be running the EQ iron ram 2.02's, the indy rhs x-heads would be a better choice. use a modified kegger intake, and i'd want at a minimum a 510/510 lift cam for it.
you'll need to get the b and g chrysler computer flash for it and at least 24# injectors. though i'd step up to at least 26# to keep the duty cycle lower and the horse power overhead higher.
don't half butt it. if you're building a torque monster motor, build a torque monster motor. get the pistons milled for a 10-10.5:1 compression ratio for some extra grunt. you're going to be needing premium anyways, may as well take full advantage of it.

A thanks for the advice that's pretty much what I needed to know but I'm afraid that's probably out of my budget. I'd just figured while I got this 360 out maybe I should look into the stroker but still gonna crunch sone numbers. I still gotta lift this thing axle swap , rear gear well you know...

I will email kolak
