32x11.5 on a 3.5" lift

would i be safe to run 32x11.5 on an 8" rim with just 3.5 inches of lift. I planned to run 32x10.5 but i think the wider tire looks better and will sling more mud haha. But would it be ok or will i have a lot less wheel travel?

Read the tire company's specs for mounting tires. Most recomend the rim to by 90% of the tire width.
