3.5 Rocky Road or 3.5 IRO - ZJ

I need help deciding between the two. I know that they both replace the back springs with the front, but the rocky road comes with a transfer case drop kit and a rear sway bar drop kit. Let me know your opinions. This is also going onto a 1996 Grand Cherokee.

Any help will be helpful

Wow, what a piece of **** (i mean the RR). I need to talk to someone that has a 3.5 IRO lift. I want to know if you need to get anything else that isn't included with the kit.

Thanks for saving me $500

Good thing you asked before actually deciding on the RRO lift. Always remember to read the stickies though .

So does anyone know if the IRO 3.5 kit comes with everything you need? I mean, someday I will need to replace the rear springs from miles of sagging. Woudl it be a good idea to replace them, i have 147k miles on mine.

Everything that's required for 3.5" lift is included. Of course we offer many options that you can choose from that will improve ride quality and off road capability. PM with any questions!

i got the rear adjustable track bar in addition to the kit. with the kit i got the bilsteins and jks quick discos.

rides like a champ but i never heard back from IRO about my possible situation with the shocks possibly being to short after 6 emails but i really like the kit.

Oh, but you didn;t really need anything else that wasnt included? Any weird vibes in the back? Also, is there room for 32's? Or should I just stick with 31's

i got 265/75/16s now which is like 31.64 and i only have minor rubbing on the control arms at full lock. but that with terra graplers and supposedly cus they are so square at the top it is more prone to rubbing so i dont see why 32s would be a big deal.

yeah you could get the plain kit but then you wont get all the free stuff for spending a grand with their deal out right now!

I don't know if you have heard of Federal MS 351 AT, but those would be the tires I would get. They arent too square at the top. I think the 3.5 kit will be fine then. I have limited amount of money (considering this is my first lift kit) so I want to pay a low price. 500 would be my max on the lift. Then of course another 500 or so for tires. Freakin' Les Schwab charges so much for install its ridiculous.

Anyways. Anymore inputs on the IRO lift kit (preferably the 3.5) would be great.

well i would save up some money in addition to what is needed incase something goes ka-put which will happen if you go about it the wrong way. marshall's law (i got a brain fart on the actual name) whatever bad could happen will happen. dont lift on a budget and not be able to use it for 3 weeks while you try to scrape together some dough. better safe than sorry.
