247-->242HD Swap, where to buy wiring?

I did the 247 to the 242HD Transfer Case swap in my WJ this weekend and everything went very well and I am now in need of the wiring harness. Specifically the one that allows you to see 4wd(Part/Full) on the dash.
Does anyone know where I can pick one up?
Thanks!

Every one I talked to at the JY said there was no harness, they told me I needed to lengthen the wire that is there. Is this the wire on the tranny about the passenger footwell area? It looks like the same plug, but it's not long enough to reach the TC plug.

I think the harness is just a plug and play extension so the plug off the transmission wiring can reach.

no... "the harness" isnt anything big. This only thing it does is tell you when you are in part time or not. Thats it. You dont NEED it. I dont have mine in. I just did the swap last friday. It was simple. Just make sure you can bench press the new one in. GOOD LUCK!

Yeah I understand now, its basically an extension for the wire that is already within the transmission wiring harness. I also just put in my 242 last friday,
I am loving it so far.

My 242 TC I put it last friday sucks. Its a ***** to get back in 2WD I have to go in reverse and go forward and then reverse and it takes for ever. I have a new one coming tomorrow. Hopefully this on is a winner!

I thought it was an extention of the plug on the tranny (passenger side). I don't think they would expect you to take a wire that's inside your jeep and run it out side to the TC.

I believe that it is the wire from the transmission wiring harness.

ok i did this 247 to 242hd swap this past summer, and i really wanted to get this cable setup correctly to get this "part time" light to work. now from what ive been reading you need to plug the cable into the transmission wiring harness located at the top of the transmission (which i can not find, but havent really been looking for it since its more of a luxury feature and not really needed to work correctly)

if anyone else can figure out where to plug this wire into that would be great!!!

if you guys need some help, here are some mopar part numbers for you....

1-05083138AA transfer case switch that screws into the transfer case.

56041899AB transfer case wire that goes from the transfer case switch to this "transmission harness" which we are all looking for.

hope that helps!
