2004 Lerado - Driver Power Lock & Power Windows

2 weeks ago i noticed that my driver door power lock was not working, but sometimes it would work. I would have to go over to the passenger door and hit the power lock/unlock.

Today... more problems... i noticed that none of the power lock or windows worked on the drivers side... and they didn't work on the passenger side either! Then... 30 mins later everything worked fine.

Anyone know the cure/fix to this problem.. has anyone had this before ?

Thanks

It's usually 1 of 2 things that cause this.
1. The master window/lock switch in the driver's door is bad.
2. There is a broken wire in the harness between the body and driver's door.

x2 on the wire...I had the same problem and I actually had to have the whole harness replaced b\c of melting wires

Thanks for the reply... is there a recommended online way to buy jeep parts ? I want to inspect the door and wires and replace the switch myself...
