2004 Custom Sub Box

Hey everyone,

I'm a new Jeep owner, a 2004 WJ Grand Cherokee V8, and im looking to do some sound upgrades. I've been looking around and i know what kind of speakers I want, but I hit a roadblock with subwoofers. I want to keep my storage space, but still want to get some bass. I came across this

http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_s...hp?fit_id=1409

which seams to solve my problems, but it only covers one side of the car. Id want to do 2 10" subs, probably these:

http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/pr...inch/db104dvc/

But I cant seem to find a sub box that will work. Anyone have any ideas? suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Could just get a single 12 that can take a lot of power. That way you won't lose to much space.

i have the stealth box and love it...its got enough bump for me. if you want to save your cargo area either deal with the stealthbox, custom make one in your spare tire area (ive seen it done i might be able to get a link) or theres a guy thats making custom ones for WJ's on the internet (i have to find that link too)

I have an Infinity Basslink in my Jeep. Produces lots of bass in the Jeep, not outside of it.

Unless your a bass Junkie like myself, then 1 10 will put alot more base in the jeep then you think.

The JL boxes are pretty nice but you could something custom as well. I mean If you dont to loose space, you could build a box big enough for 2 10's or 1 10 and loose much space at all. I mean i had 3 cubes back there and plenty of space.(I now have 8 cubes and theres none)

Also, if your concerned with space, take the 200 you were going to spend on two of those, and invest in something else...

Honestly...check out FI car audio

ficaraudio.com

You can get a 10in BL for 249.99 and thats with shipping.

Youll love it, trust me..

If you can do glass work just build a stealthbox for the other side

what a rip

those jl stealth boxes are like $500 for 200 watts or something. i had a little custom SEALED box put in to my zj and it takes up only the fron left corner of the cargo area. you can get a much more powerful and higher quality system for that price than whe w2 or whatever they give you in it. try a local reputable custom shop and ask them what they can do for you. its worth a try and alot cheaper too!
