2002 4.0 into a 1997 Cherokee
Is this transplant viable? I asked in the Cherokee forums but got no absolute answer... If it is a good candidate, what, if anything, should/do I have to change? Thanks...

I dont see why not. You'll need the pmc from the 02 and to move around the alt and p/s pump to match the 97. unless your using just the long block.
