2001 Grand Cherokee Laredo - 83K

There is a high pitched whining located in front end area. Can be heard from both sides. Front end ck'd, brakes, rotors, suspension - everything tight. Active when coasting in neutral and power on and coast in gear. Have been to two "good" mech shops and nobody can figure it out. Any advice??? Thanks

Possibly the front axle pinion bearing.
