2000 gc runs at 210

I just replaced a cracked head on my 2000 4.0 gc. the waterpump and thermostat are both new, The engine runs at 210 degrees. What can I try to cool it down.

that's the proper operating temperature for a jeep.
stock thermostat is 195 and it generally runs about 205-210. that's the temp the pcm wants to see to run at peak efficiency.

Agreed... 210 is a sign your 4.0 is in great shape.

Also... another victim of the cracking of the early 0331 head casting.

Thanks, I was concerned that something was haywire, Also I just checked the electric fan and it seems to be working only when jumped, do you suspect the relay and if so where is it located

Fan control relay is a common failure. It is located under the passenger headlight. It's not hard as long as you have a dremmel tool or something similar. Someone can probably link to a write up.

Hey Pianoman you got a picture of where the BLOCK casting is please Im leaking pretty much on 6-2 on my head and im worried im leaking the most around 5,6 tho.
