2000 GC getting P 203 code

does any one know what this means and how to fix it . I was told it might be some kind of seloniod somewhere. any help would be great. when the light comes on it also effects the way it shifts and the rpms go up while driving.

Code P0203 means an open or shorted condition detected in control circuit for Injector # 3 or the INJ 3 injector bank. I recommend going to wjjeeps.com, lot's of useful information. My guess would be your number 3 fuel injector is on its way out. Try switching the injector with another injector and see if it gives you a different code if so then you foudn your problem.

I have all 8 of those codes, I can't believe all 8 are out though.

ok thanks... i went to check the code again and this time left it on and more codes came up. This is what i got now.... p0203,204,205,206,207,208,202,201 and p0121.

No I think the ignition system is fine. I believe the injector codes are a result of something else … like the throttle position sensor or the MAP sensor. Start with the TPS.

ok thanks.... i just had the tbps replaced and the codes were erased. I guess i will see if that fixes the problem. ... thanks again!!!

I'll have to check, but I don't believe I'm getting the TPS fault like nightman, and I'm definately not getting a check engine light. I am however getting all 8 injector faults and according to wjjeeps.com says that I should be getting the light with the associated faults.
