2 speed fan with PWM controller

Hi, I was walking around sunday a new local JY and came across a 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII with the fan still in it so I pulled it out & tested it, and it came home with me for $23. I did look for the Volvo relays with no luck. now looking for a controller. I read about dccontrol.com but what i hear is the have long wait times and poor customer service. So my question is can I run this fan with a PWM controller on the high speed only and leave the low unplugged, Any possible damage to the high speed? Think about using this PWM controller Derale Fan controller. Thanks.

It shouldn't damage it. I'd go the simple route myself.

If you do get that controller I would get one with a temp sensor that actually touches coolant, not the spike into the radiator probe.

"Coulda had a V8!"
