1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee ignition lock cylender

someone recently tried to steal my jeep and they tried to use a razor blade i found a piece of it on the seat and some is still in the ignition any ideas on how to get it out? i have tried everything and am out of ideas, and can't afford to take it to the dealership.

Take apart the steering column and take out the lock cylinder. I wouldn't recommend sticking stuff in there as that is how I accidentally broke mine, (during a dash removal of all things...).

You can disassemble the lock cylinder and pick out the pieces by hand. Then reassemble it and your good.
