Try here. Also, if your garage doors have the rolling code feature, you probably won't be able to program them with your Jeep. I think Jeep didn't start putting rolling code capable transmitters in the Jeeps till 1998. I had to swap my visors with a set from a 98 Grand Cherokee so I could program my garage doors.

Depends on whether you have rolling codes or not. Ones with rolling codes generally have a "learn" button on the back of the garage door opener that you'll need to press during the programming steps. Pretty much you'll need to look at the instructions that came with the door opener or transmitter.

Without rolling codes you just need to open up your transmiter and set the DIP switches to match that of the door opener. With this method some garage door openers have propietary transmitters so you can only use their brand transmitters with their door openers.

Doesn't seem like anyone actually answered his questions in the first place. Just take your remote that opens your garage door already, hold it really close to the buttons, hold both the button on the remote and the button which you want to program and hold them down until the light changes. Then its programmed.

Unless the garage door has the rolling code feature. Then you have to learn the homelink in your Jeep to the actual garage door opener. In Jeeps made before 98, the homelink transmitters were not rolling code compatible.
