1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo - All windows stopped working!

I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with the 5.7 V8. The other day, I turned off the car, locked the doors, and went inside the store. I came outside, unlocked the car, turned it on, and immediately tried rolling down the window. Nothing happened. Okay, so I tried the other windows. Nothing. I tried the switches on the other doors, still nothing. The power locks and lock switches still work. I checked the fuse with a multimeter and it does carry current. I pulled the switch on the driver's door and tested it, it appears to work fine (with a multimeter). I checked all the fuses under the hood, and they're all good. What could the problem be?

Any answers out there?

I'm hoping that someone with the "Secret Electric Window Decoder Ring" responds to this one so I can solve the problem with my '93 ZJ. I'm done pulling my hair out until I hear or see something that sounds like a reasonable next test. With mine the drivers rear window stopped going up, it goes down just fine. Now for those of you that aren't aware, we get about 100 inches of rain in Northwest Oregon. Windows that don't roll up are a bit of a problem.

According to the FSM grounds seem to be the likely cause of ur problem.
U can get a copy of the FSM on NAGCA site.
Someone posted a link to the 93-98 FSMs plus FSM for wrangler and one for the liberty.
Here is the link to the FSMs http://www.jeepmania.com/Manuels NAGCA also has on their site the '98 and '01
FSMs.

Since the all stopped working at once, then it can usually be narrowed to the power or ground wire to the master switch on the drivers’ door. That is where I would start.

The wires that go from the body to the door (inside that rubber accordion type booty) is usually where the wire (s) break due to mechanical flexing.

Power windows, door locks, mirrors, ect are usually the wiring harness in the rubber boot on the driver door. Pull that rubber boot back and look for broken wires. Both my ZJ had this problem.

Voltage

I know you checked the switch, but did you check to see if there is voltage at the switch? If ground is a problem, try using a temporary jumper to chasis ground to see if that fixes it.

I pulled back the boot, and I guess the previous owner had thsi problem, because there was already a butt-end connector on the ground to the window switch. I replaced it (looks like the wire broke from too much movement) and it works fine. Thanks guys!
