1994 Grand Cherokee Laredo

I am new to this forum. I have a Jeep and a Jaguar. The former is virtually trouble free. the latter is not. Both very enjoyable, each in it'd own way.

My air conditioner quit. Teh clutch will not engage at the compressor.
I find no voltage to the AC clutch coil. Where does tyhe feed come from?

I can apply battery voltage to the coil and it quickly engages the clutch and COOOL comes in!

There is a little white box in the feed to the clutch coil. What is it ?

The manual mentions a fusible link on this circuit. Where is it?

If I can get voltage to the coil, I am cool again!

I have a lot of electrickery with my Jaguar. It is powered by a Cadillac LT1 !

2 manuals to peruse for it!!

The Jeep has been great. It is clean, smooth and dependable at 206K!

Thanks

Carl

Solved:

Not enough gas in the system. It worke just fine now.

Getting time to try it again for the summer. probably take nother can of R134A.

I am strugging to replace the starter in the Jeep. I can't get a wrench on the back bolt!! I think it's 14 mm.

The Jaguar purrs away until it's tail is twisted, then lookout bimmers.
