I had a 93. You can expect the a/c to go and cost you $500. Other problems that I had were the fuel pump, that was $500, water pump another $450. If it has quadra-track make sure you rotate the tires every 6K-8K miles. I didn't and it became stuck in 4WD. I had to buy 4 new tires, $600 later it was fixed. This all happened between 65K-75K so these problems may already have been addressed.

I would have the tranny looked at. By the way my 4.0 blew with 120,000 miles on it and I am on my 4th tranny, 2nd TC, 2nd Engine. and various other little things.

What's a '93 Laredo 4.6? And what TC are you breaking?

I have 143k on my '95 w/ 5.2. Normal areas of concern are the transfer case (especially if its a quadratrac), cooling system - radiator, water pump, heater core, A/C evap and compressor.

If you're getting a good deal, and don't mind a repair or two, it should be good for another 100-150k.
