i wanted to know what the fastest 1/4 mile times for stock jeeps are and if you have a modified one what you were running. i've got 15.8 secbefore the mods

Hey boosh im wondering how loud that gibson is on your Jeep. Im debating on either a Gibson single or a Flowmaster Force II single. If you can I would like to hear a sound clip of your Jeep.

its not very loud i ran it straight for a bout a day and i loved it i'm going to have a muffler shop to make me a pipe to replace the gibson muffler and then sell it it does have a nice tone though and the hp increase is felt through out the rpm range

how do you like the mopar ECU and does it do a lot in performance

I do like it alot. It helped me out alot on top speed more than anything. Im trying to get my hands on a cheap FIPK and get rid of my drop in filter but i cant find one for the right price yet.

oh and check out ebay for the k&n intake i got mine from there and it was at a good price look for that and the mopar intake there both the same

I finally got my hands on a FIPK. I will tell you how it goes and then im gonna see what really made the biggest difference.

Hey Boosh, what were the track conditions when you ran your 15.8 with a stock Jeep? Also what were your shiftpoints? I never thought a V8 Cherokee could run that fast but maybe they can. Also how many miles do you have on your Jeep? I beat a 78 Trans Am with 400 when my Jeep was bone stock. It had an Edelbroch 600 cfm carb with the jets bored and matching intake and a K@N xtreme filter with a functional shaker hood. I know the late 70's TA's aren't much on speed compared to others but i beat this one by around 2 carlengths to 80 and I didn't even get as good of a launch as i could have (didn't powerbrake).

well it was dry and pretty cold i think in febuary in florida against against a jeep cherokee 4.0 modified alot and i beat him by about 2.3 seconds oh i forgot to mention my jeep was stock until i riped off the whole stock intake tubes and had no filter running that might have helped

the other day i distroyed a honda civic si with the v-tec he had intake and exhust and i beat him by about 3 car lenghts i talked with him after and he was very suprised with what he got beat by
